Site Rules
These rules apply on every visit and form part of our terms and conditions. Marshals may clarify or tighten any rule on the day where safety requires it.
Guns and magazines
- Support weapons may use box or drum magazines at GreenOps only, and only where the platform is a recognised support weapon.
- Pistols are capped at 50 rounds.
- All sites other than GreenOps run semi-auto only, with BBs no heavier than 0.32g.
- Binary triggers are banned. A shot must not be released when the trigger is let go.
- Semi-auto shotguns may release no more than three BBs on a single pull.
- Bring a Realistic Imitation Firearm and nothing else. Two-tone and clear guns are refused whatever you've painted or wrapped over them.
- CO2 and HPA setups are allowed provided they clear the chrono and the air source carries a tamper-proof lock.
- Your magazine must be the one designed for your platform. Adapters are never permitted.
- HPA refills aren't available on site at present.
Ages
- You'll need to be 18 or over to play on your own.
- Players as young as 12 are welcome, but only with a responsible adult over 18 who takes charge of them for the day.
- One adult can supervise one player aged 12 to 14, or up to four players aged 15 to 17.
Safety and kit
- Every game is preceded by a briefing covering that site and any rule points that need clarifying.
- Ankle-supporting boots are required throughout. Trainers don't count. No boots, no shoots, and you'll be turned away without a refund.
- Impact-rated eye protection stays on the whole time you're outside the safe zone.
- We strongly recommend full-face protection, and we require it for anyone under 18.
- A helmet is strongly advised. Ear protection is advised too, and we'll lend it free if you ask.
- Wear long trousers. Gloves are a good idea.
Power limits and chrono
Every gun is tested on the chrono using the exact BB weight you intend to run, and we do check ammo weight.
- Pistols and rifles must stay under 1.14J (350fps on a 0.20g BB).
- Snipers must stay under 2.32J (500fps on a 0.20g BB).
- DMRs must be locked to semi and stay under 1.64J (420fps on a 0.20g BB).
- Sniper rifles and DMRs are GreenOps only, and a minimum engagement distance applies.
- Any gun shooting over its limit is benched. Deliberately running hot or fooling the chrono means immediate removal from site.
- When the game-over whistle goes, make your gun safe and take the magazine out before you reach the safe zone. Nothing is fired in the safe zone, not even dry.
Pyro and lasers
- Keep noise at or below a 9mm or MK5 BFG. Deploy within five metres and never straight at a player. Whatever you throw must carry your contact details, permanently marked.
- Smokes are for GreenOps only. Leave French bangers, crow scares, anything homemade, anything above 120dB, and all TAG products at home.
- Red lasers only.
Conduct
- Getting loud in the heat of a game is expected. Fighting and abuse aren't tolerated. Don't call cheats yourself; flag a marshal if a player's giving you grief.
- Being on site means agreeing to be photographed and filmed, and to those images being used to promote the site.
- What a marshal decides stands, and they decide on safety and good intent.
- If safety and the game ever pull in different directions, safety wins every time.
